2. Data minimisation

Apnea Trainer is designed so that your training data – such as sessions, breath-hold times, personal bests and training plans – is stored locally on your device by default. This data does not leave your device unless you actively enable optional synchronisation (e.g. via iCloud).

3. Health and motion data

When you use the Apple Watch features, the app may access heart rate and motion data to give you feedback during breath training. Access only occurs after your explicit consent through the system (HealthKit). This data is processed locally and is not transmitted to us.

4. App Store and purchases

Downloading the app and any in-app purchases are handled by the Apple App Store. Apple processes the necessary data under its own responsibility. From Apple we only receive anonymised or aggregated reports (e.g. number of downloads and ratings).

5. Website hosting and server logs

When you access this website, the hosting provider automatically records technical access data (e.g. IP address, date and time, page requested, browser type) in server log files. This serves technical delivery and security. The legal basis is our legitimate interest pursuant to Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR.

This website does not use tracking or marketing cookies. Your language setting (German/English) is stored locally in your browser only and is not transmitted to us.
